I talked here how I do not crave travel as much as most people do but I had a deep desire to visit Istanbul since the longest time, just like I had for Pushkar. I do not know why, because its not like I have read a lot of history about this place or anything. It just seemed so mystical and inviting. So, when the opportunity presented itself even if in the form of a one day stopover, who could have said no?
There is not much to talk about, as there was no time to know things. We just went to few of the tourist spots and I am so happy that I could visit the Grand Bazaar, so early after conceiving the dream. šĀ I cannot wait to go back to Istanbul again and explore it in detail, along with other places in Turkey. It is undoubtedly one of those places where I have travelled to and been the maximum happy. š
Here are some (or a lot) of the pictures from this wonderful day spent in Istanbul.

Blue Mosque

Hagia Sophia Mosque
From here, the frenzy of Grand Bazaar pictures begins. š

Awww so much nostalgia! And just yday I received the birth announcement card about the baby girl my friends had, who had gotten married in Ankara last year! I mean, I saw the baby girl in July when I went to Maryland. Hehe
