- Do not drink water right after eating: Most of us are habitual of having water while eating anything and after finishing our meal as well. Now I am not really sure about the while eating part but you should definitely not have water right after finishing your meal, especially fried food. It might cause weight gain, especially tummy fat and no, not the good kind of fat/weight. I can proudly say that at least this is one thing that I have mastered now, I can very well control my urges to have water right after having salty, spicy or fried food. However, it’s considered good to have water around half an hour before your meal.
- Warm Water + Lemon + Honey = First thing in the morning: I have never tried this myself but I have heard many, many stories from people about glowing skin and weight loss when they made this a part of their lifestyle. Also, it is clear from the ingredients that this cannot harm you, you might as well try it to see if anything wow happens. Just warm a glass of water, squeeze half a lemon in it and mix in a spoonful of honey. Make this and have this first thing in the morning after waking up. 🙂
- Warm Water: This is a toughie. You don’t feel like having warm water when you are thirsty or otherwise. However, if you start having warm water as part of your daily routine, it will have a great effect on your body. Plus, warm water helps with weight loss. Maybe winters is the right time to try doing this one?
- Drink lots of water: No, I did not just waste a point in stating the obvious. We read this point in numerous articles daily and ignore this just as many times. Some people rely on apps to remind them about drinking water. I am not a fan of the method but do what it takes to have at least 8 glasses of water daily and increase your fluid intake in general. Fluid doesn’t include aerated drinks. 😛
That would be it. Do you have any ideas that are super simple to follow but super effective for a healthier lifestyle? Do share. 🙂
Drinking water ka TDS level bhi check kar lo, around 50 hona chahiye. RO water filters reduce the TDS level to very low, great purification there but that’s also harmful for the body, because then the required minerals get taken from the bones inside the body and that causes pain. [Technical reason suggested by some doctor]. This is often neglected.
We checked ours at home and the TDS was less than 10. So we started putting a pinch of Electrol (all good minerals there) in a bottle of water to get the TDS up.
Wow, I wasn’t aware of it at all. And why wouldn’t you put the Electrol directly in the RO can, why only in a bottle, any particular reason? and how did u measure the TDS level?
directly usme nahi daal sakte, it keeps getting refilled na, randomly, as and when u take out water. [The point is that drinking water ka TDS should be around 50 and preferably of good minerals, baki u cna use whatever algorithm u like to have that in your system :P]
and TDS Level measuring instrument aata hai, usse u can measure. 🙂
‘Someone’ has been doing that lemon+honey+water+morning thing for quite some time. Results have been..encouraging, if you know what I mean 😀 So, definitely something you can do.
Moreover, I think honey has antioxidants. So it is good any other way as well.
