Quirky summer bags: Street Style #6

How often do you come across someone in the metro who are carrying a very cool bag but at the same time, their friend has an equally nice bag. They need to be clicked, no matter how awkward you and your, err, phone camera are. So, here you go (excuse the picture quality and angles please, I don’t know how I can cover up for that :/ ):

She is Ankita and her bag is from Pune. She doesn’t know which store it is from because it is a gift. πŸ™‚ Lovely, ain’t it? I loved it, spacious and stylish. Oh, and, it is a cloth/canvas bag, so, environment-friendly too.

The other girl whom I managed to click in one of the weirdest poses ever on the face of Earth is Ankita’s friend, Vanya. She, by the way, was very sweet. πŸ™‚ Her bag is from Max. Max is available in many cities, so if you want to grab that one, now is the time (Sale season people!).

So, how did you like them? I liked Ankita’s bag more because it is, well, uncommon. πŸ™‚ What about you?

By the way, many such backpack style bags (like Vanya’s) with amazing quirky designs are available on Limeroad.com. No, they are not paying me to write this, I just happened to check their bag collection a few days back and decided that whenever I do this post, I’ll mention their bag collection in case someone is head over heels in love with such kind of bags. πŸ™‚ Β (Although, I do hope that they read this and sponsor a post here πŸ˜€ ).

PS: Do you think I should stop doing street style posts until I get a better camera with me? I anyway do less travel and street markets posts because of a lack of camera. The thing is that street style once missed is missed forever. What do you guys think?

  1. Yay!! I love Ankita’s bag as well πŸ™‚ The picture has come out well. Thanks for the headsup about Limeroad.com. I’ve been searching a good online store to ship awesome bags to my friend in India. Love this post, Srishty!!

    • Thankkkkkk youuuuu for such kind words Ini. You always say really motivating things. πŸ˜€ By the way, Limeroad has a seriously good collection but only design-wise, since many of the brands are unknown, one can never be too sure of the quality, so dont invest a lot of money, just buy something good looking but reasonably priced. πŸ™‚

  2. I lovvve Ankita’s bag…hm I should find something similar (yet different) here and then post a pic to make you jealous πŸ˜›

      • πŸ˜€ Sure,when I buy I will πŸ™‚
You know, like Delhi has Sarojini Nagar and shopping streets of that kind, here in Pune we have FC road,Clover Centre,Lakshmi Road etc etc and looking at her bag,I have a feeling,it’s from FC road.
I will try to get pics of FC road the next time I go.The pics might be not clear ( using the DSLR is a bit risky during monsoons and my phone camera sucks too :P) But I will try πŸ™‚

  3. πŸ™‚ I was hunting for this post since you clicked our pics in the metro and I got the rap for not nothing the website’s name..
    Glad to see em up.
Will check rest of your site soon.
