Because we are limitless..

Capture

Do you see the quote in the screenshot? Basically, I just wanted to share that quote with all of you. It is so inspiring. πŸ™‚ But then I thought why not share the source of the quote too. No, not the real source but how I came across it. πŸ™‚

So, yes, the beautiful wallpaper that you see with a personalized message for me is Google Chrome’s new (?) app – Limitless. What a nice name, right? It fills you me with energy and hope.

This app is basically a way to keep a check on your productivity by keeping a track of the minutes you have spent on different websites, by letting you make instant notes, by letting you frame short term and long term goals which it can remind you about every time you open a new tab. πŸ™‚ And, of course, the wallpapers are amazing. πŸ™‚ It isn’t helping me much though. πŸ˜› First of all, I don’t know how but I got into the habit of using Chrome in the incognito mode and this doesn’t work in Incognito. No idea why I do that, but I do that. I’ll probably try and change that soon. Secondly, I haven’t really explored how it decides the ‘productive’ sites. It has a ticker that shows how much time you spend on which site, but how does it decide whether that time spent was productive or not, I haven’t really tried finding that out.

So far, I have only cared about the wallpapers, the good quotes and how it keeps reminding you of your goals. Do try it if you like what you see. πŸ™‚

  1. Same pinch. One BIG advantage of using Incognito is you don’t have to take the pain of deleting the history πŸ˜›

  2. Cool !

I have been a rigourous believer in online privacy ( and that is not just because I am a guy doing crazy stuff online- I mean I do, but not just that ) since college days. We used Tor networks back then, if you know what it is. It was fun and, moreover it gave the “kick” ( no, I didn’t see that movie ) of doing something which others don’t. Thereafter, Linux development took on.

But aesthetically, yes. Google and Microsoft give out adorable eye-candies.

    • I remember people using Tor, I dont remember what exactly it was, some sort of a proxy thing I guess, just googling. πŸ™‚ Now you use Linux only? And yes, Google and Microsoft put too much of their effort in Aesthetics, true. πŸ™‚

  3. This is one the coolest app I have. It definitely shocked me initially when I took a look at the stats. I have been spending so much time on social media and blogs, while in real life I was thinking that I didn’t have much time to read all my favorite blogs. Good way to analyze what we do. πŸ™‚

    • Thank God I know somebody who is using it and reaping benefits as well πŸ˜€ I myself cannot use it properly considering how used to I am to incognito.

Have something to say? I would love to hear from you :)
